Hastings Library Visit
On Thursday Room 1 and 2 headed off to investigate another Library.
Kristen welcomed us to the Hastings Library and read us three really great books.
Then we went on a tour to see how big the Library was. We found books for kids, books for our Mums and Dads and books for people who need larger print, we also found DVDs you can borrow!
After time to relax and read,read,read we went and looked at the War Memorial Mural and remembered all the men in Hastings that fought in the two World Wars.

Off to Music Lessons
On a Wednesday morning we arrive at...music!At music our teacher is called Miss Kirk. She is lovely! We always stand up and down. Sometimes people act up. Today Tadhg and Zara got the first turn on the big drums. On rainy days we take our shoes off inside.

I walked to Music to the AV room. We take our shoes off. Miss Kirk gave us instruments. Jake and I got all the instruments and put them back. It is at 10 o'clock.

We rushed to Music to play the instruments. We play music in the AV room. Our teacher is called Miss Kirk. We have to take our shoes off. We sing My Two Front Teeth, Waddly Archer, My Only Sunshine and This Little Light of Mine. The instruments are called tambourines, shakers, a drum, a triangle, a wood block.

On Wednesdays Room 1 goes to Music. The music room is called the AV room. Miss Kirk is our teacher. We go to music at 10 o'clock. I like Music.

At Music we sing songs with Miss Kirk. It is fun. I stand beside Theo. He's my friend so is Jake we all have fun. We do it in the AV room. We play with the instruments.
